Jennifer Lopez has been keeping very tight lipped about whether or not she will return on American Idol. I’m not sure why, the show has revitalized her career tenfold and she reportedly got paid a helluva good paycheck to be there.
Is this just a ploy for more money or a new reality show?
Jennifer Lopez was recently on Alan Carr: Chatty Man last Friday night in the UK. In the interview funny man Carr got right down to business:
“You’ve only signed up for one season, but apparently they’ve offered you $20 million to go back,” Carr said. Jennifer quickly responded with, “They did? Well, I better get on the phone then. That sounds pretty good!”
After the laughter subsided, Lopez seriously answered the question:
“I have not decided whether I’m going back yet. It’s not time [to decide] and I have a lot of things happening. And I really got to decide whether I’m going to do a film or if I’m gonna go on tour or if I’m going back to TV.”
“I really don’t know yet.”
Rumor has it that Lopez only did American Idol for the year while she shopped around for her own reality singing competition that revolved around Latin American stars.
