Pixar “Brave” Trailer: First Female Main Character! (WATCH!)
Ladies love Pixar movies – but we have been waiting years to see a female main character to join some of the awesome male protagonists. Finally, it’s time! A teaser trailer for the upcoming Pixar film Brave has been released – and we’re seriously excited. Check it out:

In the film – which won’t hit theaters until 2012 – Merida, a redheaded Scottish warrior princess, avoids royalty to fulfill her dream of becoming an archer. Kelly Macdonald of Boardwalk Empire voices the princess, while Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Billy Connolly and Craig Ferguson also lend their voices to the film.
