James Franco Rising Music Video: Love it or Hate it? (Watch!)
James Franco released his first music video off his new Kalup & Franco EP.
James Franco has decided that he’s just NOT busy enough and that he will now dive into the music business. The music video is a dizzy little trip into the world of James Franco and Kalup Linzy, a drag queen and performance artist.
The two’s first album ‘Turn It Up’ will be released on July 12. Although they have just released the song, Rising.
The video is just a blurry dizzy 3 minute, 53 second ball of randomness. I really don’t know what to say about it. Like everything else James Franco I quizzingly watched the video scratching my head thinking “Are you freakin’ serious? Is this for real?”
And apparently it is!
“James and I have both felt that sometimes developing projects separately and then bringing the other in later helps move the projects along,” Linzy said. “He is busy with school and films and I pretty much travel the world year round. We’re not planning to tour or anything like that for the EP. The music is a part of an ongoing collaboration.”
I’m not artistic in any way, so I just don’t get it. Maybe some of you do so I’d like to hear what you have to say about the song.. but for me? It’s a hate. And quite frankly, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to be a fan of James Franco. Anyone agree?
