Bachelorette fans may or may not know that there will be no new episode tonight due to 4th of July festivities.
Not sure whether it was a ploy on ABC’s part to get as many viewers as possible for the repeat episode tonight but the network did not make it clear at the end of last week that there wouldn’t be a new episode tonight.
So those of you looking forward to Monday night’s Bachelorette drama can expect to wait another week. Tonight, ABC will be re-airing last week’s Hong Kong episode where Bentley returns and Mickey leaves.
And while this week will be a very boring week for fans, next week will be much more exciting. Next Monday – July 11, 2011 – not only will there be a brand new episode airing, there will also be the first installment of “Bachelor Updates.”
The first installment features an exclusive interview with Emily Maynard where she will update fans on her break up with Brad Womack.
In short, this week will suck for fans but next week promises lots of excitement.

I’m more relieved now. I was going to be watching fireworks with the family tonight. Good to know I won’t miss anything. Haha.
I’m tired of ABC’s mislaeading information and games. Will not watch the series in the future. Also – they should have told the bachelors Ashley was hung up on Bentley (still is – as she mentions constantly “Now that Bentley is gone.” Now that I am over Bentley…”). It was boring and immature to watch Ashely be Ashely, as well as making fools of the unsuspecting guys. These were/are circumstances where telling the truth should have occured and not watching everyone get duped for the sake of ratings. This was the most uninteresting series to date – because the effect was the opposite of what ABC wanted it to be. The guys were used and Ashely looks like a self-serving idiot. It STINKS! “Okay fellers, now that Bentley has dumped me I’m all yours,” Whoopee!!!
Who cares!
Instead of simply showing Ash the recorded blasts Bentley gave her where he admitted her true feeling about her, the show chose to drag out the emotional side and play with Ashley’s emotions for ratings rather than giving her immediate closure and thereby being fair to the remaining contestants. I don’t blame them for being upset with the way things went down…Shame on you programming guys. Not sure I want to follow this series anymore.
That sucks that there is no episode tonight I love my Monday nights in front of the Tv watching this show ;(
I was personally relieved to find out there was not an episode tonight because I was getting pretty tired of seeing Ashley crying or whining so much; it got pretty boring.
She set herself up with Bently when she decided to ignore the warning she recieved by taking things so fast with Bently. 2ndly; I have to agree with a previous post from Car fool, making a fool of the other guys who are still waiting; Ashley seems to be kind of ok; now that Bently said that he did not want her; Ashley decides she’s ready to give the other guys a chance. Poor guys, I would really feel like 2nd choice if I were in their shoes.
I think that Ashley is just going through one of those things where someone tells you that you should not see this guy because he is no good; and it just attracted her that much more to Bently “the forbiden”??
It is all starting to feel like Ashley is not as ready as she thought she was to settle down and find Mr. Right. She is way too imature. If I finish watching it it would be soley out of curiousity if I can even stand any more of it.
This whole Bentley situation was absolutely ridiculous and wait until she see’s the episodes of him calling her an ugly duckling etc., he’s a real beaut he is! I’d almost prefer to think of this being a complete set-up, otherwise it’s pretty hard to think of Ashley having the smarts to be a dentist…..where the hell is her common sense. For starters he was so transparent and seemed like such a fake……oh well, you get what you settle for by trying to find true love on a TV show with camera’s all up in your face. Get a grip Ashley and I don’t blame the guys for feeling like “left-overs” or “second-best”!!!
yes i’m kinda disappointed too! Chris all of them this time seems to be there for the beautiful places they go too. none of them impress me. next time maybe fine someone else to be there instead of someone from from a previous show!!!!!!!!!! Brad was exception, oh Chris I just love watching you and your wife you have a beautiful family .

Lets hope the producers produce a better Bachelorette than Ashley
So far I have not decided to every watch the Bachelor or Bachelorett ever again…
My prediction, whomever Ashley chose, it will not last….
The guy will get tired of her whining and immaturity…

I dislike watching the Bachelor and the Bachelorette when they use previous Bachelors and Bachelorettes for a whole season. Give us something new and refreshing. I didn’t even like the return of Brad. Bently was a joke and certainly not good looking. I will try another season and hope your producers can bring it back.
The immaturity this season is almost palpable which is certainly not entertaining. Watching people interact with the the potential outcome of a committed relationship is what this show used to be about. Sensationalism sells, drama sells, but having the producers pursuing it to the degree they have has turned the show into a joke. I’m becoming more disappointed with each season. I don’t choose to watch troubled people as entertainment. I’d prefer to see the producers promote interactions of healthly individuals as role models for those younger audiences. Personally, I think we are way overdue for a an “older” more seasoned show… maybe 40 something???
I hate the way she says Bentley’s name. She drags out the syllables and says it in a childish voice. JP and Aimes all the way!
I say ” so sorry guys” run for your life . This girl is such a major buz kill . Boring … I wish the directors would tell her to stop nervously licking her lips or get her a tube of chap stick. This show has swallowed her alive .
