Which Hollywood starlets beat out Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon for the title of highest paid actresses? It might not surprise you to hear that Angelina Jolie, who was in hit films like Salt and The Tourist, secured the No. 1 position but which other Hollywood hottie tied the spot for first place? Well, that might surprise you!
Sarah Jessica Parker, the Sex and The City legend and longtime style icon (she wore the same dress in 2006 that Kate Middleton donned this week during her trip to Canada), has earned over $30 million in the last year – also earning her the top spot on the Forbes Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actresses list.
So how exactly did SJP top the list? Well, the semi-successful Sex and the City Part 2 movie hit screens last year but there’s no way she made that much money from the movie. Surprisingly, most of her earnings came from SATC TV show reruns and her successful line of perfumes, which brought in $18 million in 2010.
In addition, Parker has also helped design clothes for Halston, a popular fashion line.
