CBS has announced that they will be revealing why Evil Dick left the Big Brother house this week but it seems as though Dick Donato is beating them to the punch.
The former Big Brother winner is taking to his site, RTVZone to post a 9-minute clip explaining his departure from the show and squashing rumors that he left for the wrong reasons.
Dick is quick to explain that no one in his family died, he didn’t leave to further Daniele in the game and he wasn’t going jail. He also said he wasn’t kicked out of the show.
In addition, Dick is adamant that he and his daughter have not spoken in the last 3 years except for one time.
So why did Dick leave Big Brother 13?
He was a little obscure in the exact reason why he was leaving the show. He said that a friend needed his help and, while he really wanted to stay, he needed to leave in order to help someone who means a lot to him.
“I was summoned to the diary room and producers spoke to me and gave me some bad news about someone I was very close with,” he explains. “It was an emergency that required my immediate attention, there was no second thought, I had to leave and then understood completely.”
We’re not exactly sure why his friend needed help or who his friend is but Dick made it clear that he was going to respect the privacy of his friend and not say anything further.
Dick maintains that his goal this season was to become the only two-time Big Brother winner.
Because of Dick’s exit, Daniele gets a golden key, keeping her safe for the next 4 weeks.

I am sad to see that Dick has left. I love him and Danielle. I am also sad to hear that he and his beautiful daughter havent spoke in 3 years. I know this must really hurt Danielle and I pray she will find someone to LOVE her so much for who she is…..God bless you

I am pissed that Evil Dick is already off BB. He was the only reason I wanted to watch it. I sure hope that this exit was on the up and up. Now I don’t care who wins. I wanted to watch Evil Dick work his magic. I wanted him to win twice too.
His team went right to pieces without him. Whimps!!! Hopefully Jeff got them back on track.

Call me jaded but it has crossed my mind that he planned this ahead of time, like on Survivor, to benefit his daughter. He knew ahead of time about the couples and he is very clever. I would rather think it was legitimate so that’s what I’m going to go with.
I don’t think Big Brother would have let Dick go if it wasn’t something very important, and I respect Dick for leaving something he really loved and wanted to do to go help a friend.

We don’t need to know the details of why you had to go so if people don’t understand your right kiss your A double S….. It does however show what kind of Man you really are and that speaks for itself!! Whatever it is hope all is ok or works out….. True friend you are that is forsure!!! Well when I saw that Big Brother was bringing back Evil Dick I was so excited! He is one of my favorite people. Last season was terrible in my opinion and I was very happy this season when he came on. Now that he is gone I will not watch anymore. I hope Danielle wins, good luck to her. Say what you want about Dick, but the man is awesome, someone needed him and he gave his place up to be there with them! I hope that I may someday have a true friend like him! Like stated earlier in a post…May we meet someday and party like a rock star!!!!!!!! Peace out
Watched your video. Big Big Brother fan! As others was excited about your (Evil Dick’s) return. Realized we really don’t know someone but appreciated the video & the opportunity to in a small way get the chance to better know you. I am with you I immediately thought he was let go because he was on something….He aged terribly. I think he spent his winnings partying just a little too hard. He snuck drugs in and got caught. I’m sticking to my theory. His friend that needs help is him..he needs rehab NOW!!!

Debbie…That was my first thought to. However…After hearing that they still
don’t speak after season 8 as well they came in the house estranged from
each other so did she deserve an explaination. Sounds like she doesn’t worry
about her Father at all so i think as long as it was addressed that it wasn’t his
family or girlfriend that was all the information she needed as much as the
other housemates and the viewers got.
Hopefully this will shake her up enough to speak to him and make peace.
My Father is gone and you don’t get a second chance after death and she
is going to go through a shock that she can’t see now because of her age
but sooner or later it’s time to grow up and get over yourself no matter what
the reason. It wasn’t bad enough to keep her from coming back on Big Brother
with him!! Danielle grow up and make peace with your Dad before it’s too
late!! Thanks for the tape Dick and you are a great friend to give up what

I hated to see Dick go myself. His ego is to big to throw the game even for his
daughter. I believe he left for a personal urgent reason and did it for a friend.
Danielle i actually saw tears and for a brief moment concern on your face and then
right into how it screwed up your alliance.
I for a second heard concern come out of your mouth but again very briefly.
Nobody is perfect and i for now hope this scared you enough to think for a brief moment
he is your father and you only get one.
To hear Dick say that you haven’t spoken in 3 years except once over a death in the family that’s really sad.
He must of done something that is so unforgivable that you can’t forgive or let go of and
that is sad.
Don’t wait to make peace as you can see he is trying but you show no emotion at all when it comes to him.

I beilive that he may have left to give Danielle the best chance of winning. It;s possible his friend did need him but I think he ulimated used that as a cushion for his benevolent act. Hopefully they can repair their relatioship
