Jewel Has Baby Boy!
Jewel and her husband Ty Murray have welcomed a new son! According to People Magazine, Jewel gave birth to a baby boy on Monday evening in Texas. His name: Kase Townes Murray.
Hmm…I could see Case…but Kase? What do you guys think?
The little tyke weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz. “Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” Jewel said. “We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!”
Jewely, 36, had struggled to get pregnant – and when she was five months along, she was hit by a fire truck. Luckily, little Kase was unharmed. He’s a fighter! Maybe he’ll follow in his dad’s footsteps and become a professional bull rider?
Of course, he may have his mother’s musical talents…Jewel, who co-hosts Bravo’s Platinum Hit, has also been working on a new children’s album, The Merry Goes ‘Round, which will hit shelves in August. You might also remember her hilarious Funny or Die karaoke video.
