Big Brother 13 stars Jeff and Kalia had quite the argument in the BB house this week. Believe it or not, it was sparked by Jeff’s opinion of Harry Potter character Dumbledore being gay.
In reference to Dumbledore’s sexuality, Jeff says “He’s in a school with little kids, you can’t make that guy gay!”
He continues, “It isn’t right to have it in a little kids book, and have the head master locked away in this magical land, be gay. That isn’t the right kind of writing to do.”
This sparked fury in Kalia who calmy tried to argue that Jeff’s views were wrong. “Why? Gay men can’t work with little kids!? Just because he is gay, doesn’t mean there is a thing wrong with him.”
Jeff did not take Kalia’s comments well and started cursing and swearing at her, even after she revealed that her little sister is gay.
Needless to say, Jeff’s comments were out of line and his views are completed skewed.
Nice to see your true colors, Jeff.
It doesn’t need to be said that I’m obviously on Kalia’s side in this argument but who do you think is right in this scenario?

what do you mean society needs to lighten up…there is NO correlation between being gay and being a sexual predator as Jeff was suggesting by saying someone gay shouldn’t be in a school full of kids….obviously you are an uneducated republican who lives in the south and have never left your town…educate yourself!

Kalia is right, being gay doesn’t mean that you can’t work with kids. However, Jeff is entitled to feel uncomfortable about Dumbledore being gay. It is his opinion, and it’s one that is shared by many people. Personally, I’ve never had an issue with Dumbledore, but that’s my opinion.
I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. One of my family members is also gay. but is great working with kids and only came out of the closet when the kids grew up. but the kids knew any way. Accept what you can not change. Every should be able to express how they feel without a lot of argueing. Way to go Jeff.
