Demi Lovato is out of rehab – and has changed her life for the better. The 18 year-old sat down with Ryan Seacrest to talk about her struggles, and how music keeps her going. Here’s the scoop from E! News:
“I wasn’t going to continue to be alive if I continued to treat my body the way I was,” she said. Demi entered rehab last October for help with anorexia, bulimia and cutting.
“It’s a daily journey and it’s definitely going to be a struggle that I’ll have to deal with for the rest of my life,” she admitted. “Sometimes I think, ‘Why couldn’t I have been normal?’”
“I’m not going to be perfect, but…if I can make it through the day, that’s all that matters,” she said. She actually recorded two versions of her latest single, “Skyscraper,” one when her voice was weaker, and one post-rehab. Ultimately, they decided to go with the first one. “For me it was…so symbolic,” Demi said.

I knew there was going to be some jerk-off who was going to say something moronic and infantile, though I wouldn’t have ever thought you would choose a title of “thatguy”. You are the epitome of rude, insensitive, hateful, senseless, uneducated pile of scrap tin spat out by the machine that is society. You have regressed in intelligence to the point that you can’t understand anybodies pain but your self’s. If you retort and say that it’s an unintelligent way of handling pain, let me counter respond and say that everyone deals with pain there own way. Some people eat a tub of ice-cream, some smash there hand through walls, some run until there exhausted, some watch television listlessly, others have a crying fest and/or call there loved one’s to cope. You have absolutely every right to say “she’s a freak” since it’s your opinion and probably the opinion of every psychologically uneducated persons out there, but my opinion is that each and every one of you are stereotypically labeling someone and in an extremely negative and unhelpful way while simultaneously ignoring your own subconscious or conscious unintelligent quirks.
Since I will never read any of the replies because I don’t keep up with these random “you can say any shit you want” I just want to say that I wasted a lot of time into bashing that douche-bag and though it makes me feel lots better, I feel that he’ll be one of those stereotypical lazy fucks who won’t check back on what he’s said. It’s too bad really. He’ll be declining in intelligence until he’s a drone, “Sir, yes sir. I agree with everything you say, though I don’t understand what you’re saying. It doesn’t matter. I still agree.”
Im sorry, but that whole statement claiming that “thatguy” is not intelligent was rendered ignorant when you used the wrong “their” in your sentences…. Don’t try to act smart and bash somebody else by saying they’re unintelligent when you yourself fail to use proper grammar…
