Lindsey Vonn may have won the award for Best Female Athlete at last night’s ESPY Awards but her real victory was snagging a backstage photo with Justin Bieber for her Facebook page!
As she accepted her award, Vonn thanked all the people who have helped her achieve success: Her husband, her coaches, her family and, of course, Justin Bieber. Wait, what?
Yes, that’s right, at the end of her speech the Olympic skier thanked Justin Bieber just before asking him if he’d take a photo with her for her Facebook page.
Not surprisingly, Justin agreed and their photo can be seen here (right).
Some websites are now joking that Lindsey’s medal was taken away from her and awarded to President Barack Obama “because no one has ever gone downhill faster than Obama.”
Ha-ha, very funny.
