Bachelorette Spoilers: Ashley Eliminates Ames, But He Still Finds Love!

Bachelorette fans will be shocked and disappointed to learn that Ashley Hebert eliminated loveable nice guy Ames Brown after hometown dates this week but his love story hasn’t ended just yet.

Ashley decided that Ames wasn’t the one for her and sent him packing tonight leaving Constantine, JP and Ben F as the Final 3. Ames was devastated to be going home but fans of the sometimes dazed out charmer can rest assured that he finds love at the end of all of this. How? Let me explain…

If you don’t want to know any Bachelor Pad 2 spoilers, do not read any futher.

Some of you may or may not know that Ames has been cast on Bachelor Pad 2. He competed for the prize but he didn’t win. Needless to say, he still turned out to be a winner in love (aww!).

You see, Ames had a very strong connection with former Bachelorette Jackie Gordon from Brad Womack’s second season of The Bachelor while they were both on Bachelor Pad. Jackie (photographed above) gets voted off Bachelor Pad in the second episode and, as the limo is pulling away to take her home, Ames begins chasing after the limo to go with Jackie. He gets in and decides to leave the show to pursue a relationship with Jackie – so cute!

According to RealitySteve, the two are still together!

As with so many other former Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants, Ames and Jackie didn’t find love on their respective seasons but they still owe ABC credit for the relationship they’re in now!

What do you think of Jackie and Ames together (personally I think Ames was too nice for Jackie – I didn’t like her on Brad’s season, she seemed kind of stuck up – but who knows, maybe she’s changed)…

  1. I can’t see him with Jackie ! She’s ugly and dull. He’s cute and intelligent. I suspect Ames is bi-sexual but maybe he prefers women ? Anyway, what a weird thing to hear that he likes Jackie-! And she seemed like a bitch to at least one of the other women in that first Bachelor show she was in.

    • Bachelorette Watcher says:

I am not sure if Jackie is his match, however, who ever gets him will be a lucky woman. He is smart, well spoken and exhibits a touch of class. Ashley is not good enough for him as he deserves a woman of his character. His sister needs to step back a bit and let him find the woman that steals his heart not hers. I would not be surprised to find out that Ames has not been with too many women. He needs to find someone who will hold him and tell him that they love him JUST AS HE IS…….Ashley constantly spoke of how they both shared the same thoughts and dreams. No Way Ashley. You want someone to treat you as young cheerleader who crys at a drop of a hat. Ames deserves more……..Good Luck Ames.

    • Ames is all man and all heterosexual. In other words he loves women only.
When you consider his background his father died when he was a very young
boy and started to get bad grades in school and then his mother remarried. They
sent him to boarding school in which he devoted himself to getting good grades
and read a lot and probably felt pretty rejected. Then his stepfather died. Ames
went through a lot and he turned his insecurity to school and being the best he
could be like getting into Harvard and getting his masters degree and is going on
for his doctorate. He has a good job and runs marathons and he won a marathon in
college. He reaches for the stars and wants to excel in everything. On top of all this
is he has a sensitivity in him from rejection of his childhood which will always make
him an adorable man. He is sexy, dreamy in his love of learning and books and Jackie
is an artist and I think that will make them perfect together.

  2. It will never last. They are not well-suited and after seeing his home, I don’t think many girls would like to live in such a remote area. It would take a very self-confident woman to give up night life and notoriety to settle down in a sleepy town.

    • Haha! It does look like a sleepy little town on the show. It’s actually very close to Philadelphia (ironically) and there is lots to do around here, even “nightlife”. I live here and its not too bad. ; – )

  3. I personally loved Ames I think he is to nice for Jackie I also think he was lucky to get eliminated from The Bachlorette. He is the nicest guy he deserves someone nice not someone so needy like Ashley!!!!! He has got some exposure now… the girls will be lining up for him. I wish my daughter could meet him lol !!!!

    • I agree with you. Ames is amazing and ladies will be lining up for him. He is the best, most classy guy they’ve ever had on the bachelor!

  4. Ames is just too much of everthing that is “good” for this show. People don’t know what to make of him because they are unaccustomed to folks on this show having their luves together. Ashley is in left field. She and Brad should have ended up together so they could get a family discount on Brad’s psychologist. She let the best one go. Not sure I see Jackie being right for Ames, but in the course of life I think he should be thankful that Ashley didnt pick him.

  5. Actually, I thought Ames was gay, but if he and Jackie hit it off, then good for them! I like Jackie–she comes off stuck up, because she was about the only really mature woman on the show. Fortunately for her, Brad sent her packing–who on earth would want someone who is constantly consulting with his personal guru to see if he was emotionally stable? Yuckers! Ashley grew on me this season…hope she is happy with JP or whoever. It must be summer–the only time we in the public get all wrapped up in crap like this! LOL

  6. Sharon Reed says:

I love Ames…. He opened his mouth and America was exposed
To old world charm and sincerity. Attributes that men should
emulate in this world of creepy guys like (don’t want to say his
name in print)…but you know the creep I mean…
Ames, Ashley didn’t deserve a guy like you …. Hope whoever
you do end up with appreciates your wonderful qualities as a human
being. You give me hope for the male species

  7. Just Sayin' says:

IMHO: I wouldn’t say Jackie is stuck-up; more likely she doesn’t suffer fools. She’s also measured with her emotions, and doesn’t give the store away out of desperation. I’d love to see something work out for Ames, and Jackie may be understanding and deserving of his ways.

  8. Ames you are a real “Catch”. I love the way you see life and beauty in your surroundings and in your everyday life, your bright, handsome, romantic, and have very interesting conversations. You deserve the very best. Someday you will be thrilled that Ashley didn’t pick you. She is not up to your standards. Be patient the right girl will come along, don’t settle. I have watched these shows for years and you are the #1 Gentleman.

Best Wishes from Someone Not Young Enough for You, but Very Wise

  9. So basically Aames falls in love with any girl on TV. Ahhh, true love.

  10. If Jackie is a little meaner than Ames that is alright. If you put together two exactly the same no one would lead. But I agree Ames is the best of the best. A girl could fall in love with him so very very easy. If my granddaughter was just about 5 or 6 years older I
sure would like to introduce her to him. He’s the kind of guy I’d like her to marry.

  11. I, too, am an Ames fan and agree with all of the foregoing compliments. He obviously lives his life according to high standards of personal behavior, and is a truly lovely human being. He turned to books and educating himself, and became a better person for it. Heady, considerate and thoughtful, he doesn’t just see the beauty of life, he IS the beauty of life.

“All men eventually get rid of the hair on their knuckles – some from dragging them on the ground long enough, others from evolving into a higher life form.” Such is Ames.

  12. Bachelorette Spoilers says:

Loving this season. Read this at http://www.TVFanSpace.com – They are usually right on and also say that Reality Steve is wrong again with the Finale! Can’t wait!

  13. janelle barrett says:

Ames sister appears way too controlling in the segment. She does need to back off and allow him to be the adult he is and choose whom he will. She is enough to scare any gal.

  14. I believe Ames is being controlled by a remote, A real life ROBOT!! Anh ANh anh aaaww!!!! With T-Rex Arms!!!! Check His batteries I think hes in slow motion!!!

  15. Hi, i think that i noticed you visited my blog thus i came to ?return the choose?.I am attempting to find issues to enhance my website!I guess its good enough to make use of a few of your ideas!!
