MTV Video Music Awards 2011 Nominations Full List: MTV VMA Nominees!

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards (or MTV VMAs) has officially released its list of nominees and Katy Perry leads the pack with a whopping 9 nominations, including Video of the Year and Best Female Video for her hit Firework.

Other top nominees this year include Kanye West (boo!) with 7 nominations and my personal favorite Adele with 7 nods as well.

The competition will be tight for those vying for the coveted Video of the Year award. Adele is up for her video for Rolling in the Deep, Katy Perry for Firework, Tyler, The Creator for Yonkers (not sure who that is), Bruno  Mars for Grenade and the Beastie Boys for Make Some Noise.

Personally, I think this is going to be Adele’s big year! She is an amazing artist who brings out the true meaning of music and I think this is definitely her time to be acknowledged.
