Bachelorette 2011 Ashley Hebert – JP vs. Ben F: Did She Make the Right Choice?
It was the night Bachelorette fans had been waiting for since the beginning of the season. Last night, Ashley Hebert chose the one guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with and, subsequently, sent another guy home brokenhearted.
The Final Two men were JP and Ben F. Both had qualities that seemed compatible with Ashley. After watching the season, it was pretty clear for most that she and JP had a spark from the very beginning but it was Ben F that won over her family – particularly her sister, who didn’t like JP – during the finale episode.
So who did Ashley pick last night?
As most of us predicted, Ashley picked JP. She sent Ben F home brokenhearted and, let’s just say, he didn’t take the news well. After Ashley apologized for not picking him and began complimenting him on his personality, he told her not to sugarcoat the situation. He walked off in one of the most dramatic Final Rose Ceremony exits ever and defended himself on the After the Final Rose special by saying he “left with a little bit of dignity.”
Ashley and JP looked incredibly happy and very much in love during the After the Final Rose Ceremony special. The question is, did Ashley make the right choice – and will they do what most Bachelor/Bachelorette couples never get the chance to do and that is walk down the aisle?
