How young is too young for a child to participate in a provocative photo shoot? According to parents Veronika Loubry and Patrick Blondeau 10 years old is definitely not too young.
The little girl’s name is Thylane Loubry Blondeau and she is the target of media controversy this week as provocative photos of the young girl posing in compromising positions, wearing promiscuous outfits and sultry makeup have hit the Internet.
The photos have sparked outrage in many who claim that the pics are sexualizing young girls and portraying them as something well beyond their years.
“I think that I’m seeing a very young girl being sexualized, being gazed at in a very adult way,” Koa Beck, editor of Mommyish.com, told Good Morning America this morning.
We’ve decided to just publish the one photo above so you get an idea of just how young the girl is but have decided not to post anymore since we don’t support what the photos represent.
Thylane’s parents, however, do not feel the same. They’ve posted many seductive photos of their 10-year-old daughter on their website for everyone to see.
One photo features the little girl sitting on a bed topless with a boy looking toward her. What’s worse than the photo itself is the accompanying caption which reads “SHE’S NOT WEARING A TOP BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T THINK IT WOULD OFFEND ANYONE shoot me.”
In my opinion, this is child abuse. At 10 years old you don’t know right from wrong and any parent who exploits their child like these parents are exploiting their daughter deserves to be punished.
