Bachelor Pad 2, 2011: Michelle Money’s Dad Died This Weekend
Michelle Money was the most controversial bachelorette on Brad Womack’s latest season of The Bachelor but, deep down, Michelle is an amazing person whose life is now dedicated to help finding a cure for colon cancer.
Those of you who follow Michelle on Twitter already know that her dad was suffering from colon cancer for the past while. I am sad to report that he died this weekend, Michelle confirmed via Twitter:
“Thank you to all for the love and prayers. My dad loved getting tweets from those of u who did. The suffering is done. He is at peace.”
She adds, “But his life was cut far too short. I am praying that I can use my dads strength and reach out and bring awareness to this awful cancer… I will do all I can to prevent anyone else from having to witness what my family and I have. This I can promise.”
For those of you who haven’t read the spoilers, Michelle makes it to the final four of Bachelor Pad 2 this season (alongside Graham Bunn, Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano).
There’s no doubt that Michelle will use some of the money she wins (if she wins) to help support this great cause.
