Taylor Armstrong may have been the most recent woman in Russell Armstrong’s life but she definitely wasn’t the only one. Russell’s other ex-wife, Barbara Frederickson, shared a great deal of her life with Russell and even gave birth to his son.
Russell and Barbara were married in 1997 and had their son, Aiden (now 14) together. Barbara said that Russell was a great father to Aiden – up until the point when he met Taylor.
Despite the sensitivity of the situation right now, Barbara went on the record and told RadarOnline.com that she blames Taylor for Russell’s suicide.
“I don’t care for her at all. I think she’s the reason for this,” Barbara told RadarOnline.
As for their son, Frederickson says Aiden is going to be devastated when he learns of his father’s death. “He has always been a great dad to my son,” she says. “He was very close to Aiden and he’s going to be absolutely devastated.”
Russell’s former wife also elaborates on just exactly how much things changed once her ex-husband met Taylor.
“For years he saw Aiden twice a month and had him all the summers. It wasn’t until the issues with this Taylor girl that it got bad.”
Barbara doesn’t believe the show is to blame for Russell’s death but she is adamant that it’s Taylor’s fault.
“I don’t think it was the show. I think she [Taylor] drove him into financial stress and it just ruined him,” she finishes.
I agree with the first x. We should all take note that there was no abuse allegation that was brought up. Clearly Taylor was the demise and the fall of a man that tried and failed at fixing and appeasing a broken woman. It is clear that Taylor never loved him. His money definitely but he was just the vessell to get to it.
