Anne Hathaway Diet: “I’m Living on Kale and Dust” To Be Catwoman (WATCH!)
What does it take to look good in a skin-tight Catwoman suit? A lot of working out – and NOT a lot of food. Anne Hathaway appeared on Chelsea Lately last night, and the 28 year-old star of One Day and The Dark Knight Rises was refreshingly honest about what it takes to be as thin as she is.
“I’m a vegetarian, and right now I’m like living on kale and dust,” she said. “For the training. The catsuit’s unforgiving, man.” How does she get into it? “A lot of motivation” – and it “takes three of us” to physically put it on her! Anne also had to learn to love exercising, despite the fact that she started out not being able to do as much as the “pregnant Jessica Alba” working out next to her at the gym.

Kudos to Anne for being honest! I’m sure if I worked out like crazy and survived on kale and dust, I’d be pretty skinny too. I hate when celebs say “oh, I love cheeseburgers” or “I never diet” and expect us to believe that size 0 or 2 is attainable that way. Amanda Seyfried once said that a usual lunch would be “spinach and seeds.” Similarly, Jessica Biel said that when she’s working, she will have one cheat day and six days of “no bread, dairy, sugar, salt, and not a lot of meat.” Thanks for keeping it real!
