Anthony Bourdain Slammed By Paula Deen!

“Get a life!” That’s what Food Network star Paula Deen said in response to Anthony Bourdain’s scathing criticism. According to E! News, Anthony told TV Guide that Paula is “the worst, most dangerous person to America.” He continued: “She revels in unholy connections with evil corporations, and she’s proud of the fact that her food is f–king bad for you,” he said. “I would think twice before telling an already obese nation that it is OK to eat food that is killing us. Plus, her food sucks.”

Well, tell us how you really feel!

Paula didn’t hold back with her response to the No Reservations host. She told Page Six that Anthony needs to “get a life,” among other things: “You don’t have to like my food, or Rachael [Ray]‘s, Sandra [Lee]‘s and Guy [Fieri]‘s,” she said. “But it’s another thing to attack our character…I can contribute by using my influence to help people all over the country. In the last two years, my partners and I have fed more than 10 million hungry people by bringing meat to food banks.”

Paula continued: “My good friends Rachael, Guy and Sandra are the most generous charitable folks I know,” she said. “They give so much of their time and money to help the food deprived, sick children and abandoned animals. I have no idea what Anthony has done to contribute besides being irritable.”

Plus, she says Anthony’s a jetsetting snob most people can’t relate to. “You know, not everybody can afford to pay $58 for prime rib or $650 for a bottle of wine,” she said. “My friends and I cook for regular families who worry about feeding their kids and paying the bills.”

Whose side are you on? I agree with Paula that Anthony is a snob..and I couldn’t find much info on the internet about any charity work he’s done…but should Paula take more of a responsibility to champion healthy eating?
