There’s a lot to look forward to this week for Big Brother 13 fans but those supporting Daniele might be in for a big disappointment come Thursday night.
After a victorious week, Daniele now sits in a very vulnerable position in the house after Jeff secured HOH and plans to backdoor his biggest competitor. It wasn’t Jeff’s initial plan to backdoor Daniele, however, his VETO victory this week (yes, Jeff wins POV for those of you who didn’t already know) put him in the perfect position to evict a power player.
Daniele obviously realizes that she’s a huge target now that she’s on the block so she’s literally doing everything in her power to escape eviction.
Her latest plan involves some news that Rachel would likely prefer to stay under the radar. Rachel confides in Daniele and tells her that she thinks she might be pregnant because she’s over two weeks late. Daniele immediately uses this to her advantage and tells Big Brother that they should make her take a pregnancy test. Her reasoning? It’s not safe for Rachel to be drinking or competing in competitions if she’s pregnant.
It’s not yet known if BB will make Rachel take a test – or whether she will be evicted if she is pregnant but it’s definitely a good attempt on Daniele’s part.

Well, Daniele is a health nut especially with food, so her concern is very understandable with the drinking as even someone not as health conscious would consider this. The image on TV of a pregnant woman drinking is really bad……as far as the competitions go, I agree they are lame and Rachel should be able to compete…
Please Dani just wants to get her out and she will do anything to do it. She would not care if it would not help her stay in the game
It might have been nice to tell Brenden first. I think if Daniele is really concerned about Rachel’s health then it’s very admirable- however I don’t believe for a New York second that entered into her mind. She’s all about ” Show me the money ! “. I’m hoping Jeff wins, I think he’s one of the few house guests ever on Big Brother that gets what the concept of the show is.

I watch every minute of Big Brother and YES Jeff is an immature bully, unlike the year that he was on before. He bullies Jordan even down to telling her that “he may take her on a vacation”, where she responded,”and I don’t have to take any money>” needless to say, Big Jeff wasn’t too happy with that comment assuring Jordan that if She wanted to keep him happy, she would “throw some cash ” in her wallet before they go.
He gave his word he would not back door Danielle and look what is happening. When Kaleigh was HOH he stormed he almost abusively, yes, if Big Jeff doesnt get his way then he goes off.
Terri must not watch Showtime BB After Dark…The real “them” shows up on that show!! Jeff is much different than he appears to be on CBS and Jordan…I hate that she is involved with someone as self centered and egotistical as he is. However she is not as sweet and innoncent as she appears to be either.

Even if she is pregnant, she should be able to compete. Hoping if pregnant, this baby brings her luck. She has been ostracized and picked on in this house, accused of being liars when everyone is lying to each other. I hope even though annoying sometime, Rachele is true to her words because she really shows her emotions. Go Rachele. Baby big brother.

If Rachel missed her period 2 weeks ago, it could also be the stress of this show. Stress will mess your period up sometimes. I do think she should ask for a test just to be on the safe side. Either way, she should be able to compete. She’s strong enough to handle the comps.
I believe Rachael should be allowed to compete just hate to see Danielle go home. She has played well …I want Rachelle to win because she has never won.

As for a pregnancy, I think the decision as to whether to stay or go should be up to Rachael. She has worked hard to stay in the game and she should have the option to stay or go. BB should not change any of the competitions just for R. That would be unfair to the rest of the group. If R. Wants to stay in the game she should be prepared to do everything that everyone else has to do. It is only fair. All things considered, BB shouldn’t change anything just for R. and R. should decide whether to stay or go after she considers the life of her of her little surprise.

Good point that Rachel may sue CBS if she miscarries or if ANYTHING goes wrong with the pregnancy or the baby. BUT, I personally don’t think she’s pregnant. WHY would she confide in Dani, of all people? It doesn’t make any sense. I believe she’d more likely tell this to Dani (& even other Hgs) as part of her game play rather than if it were based on reality. But who knows if anything Rachel ever says is true? She might say something to Dani, because Dani will be seeing Brendon soon. Or, perhaps, she is just nervous about it and talking to Dani. Aside from game talk, they have had some regular talk. OR she might just be trying to do everything she can to win the game, get votes, etc.. People do recognize that she is a strong competitor and if it were her at the end, I think that a lot of people would vote for her because of that. There are a lot of people playing the hate Rachel game. But they are also recognizing that she is a strong competitor.
No, she should be booted, those competitions involve lots of falling down on one’s stomach. In the lawsuit capital of the world, it’d be complete negligence to let a pregnant woman compete in such competition and supply her with alcohol.

1st BB is not liable if she does drink they do not tie her down and force liquor into her.
She drinks under her own free will and stupidity . Know the law before you state crap.
2nd. BB is not liable if she does compete in the competion, that is not a decision they can make nor do they have the expertise to advise her or anyone else to compete or not to compete. ONLY A DOCTOR can give medical advice. Since she would only be in her 6th week, physical activity is not a problem.
3rd. If she falls down on her stomach, so what. The egg is in the UTERUS, which is below the stomach. Know your body locations and fuctions.
If Rachel is pregnant, there is no reason that she should be evicted. As for drinking. she would probably be advised not to. But I don’t think they can make her. They have been giving them so little alcohol and there are just a few weeks, she would probably just stop if it were for sure. But a lot of things could cause her to be late, like the stress of the game. There’s absolutely no reason that she should or would have to leave the game. Personally, I hope she wins it all.

I’m not a fan of Rachelle but IF she is pregnant, howevever it is her choice to compete, BUT if she had to go on slop or anything for that matter or if there was another competition where they had to get layed on and the “milk” squeezed out of them, then I think she should have the choice to sit out. and the slop thing isnt a healthy diet for a growing baby so she would have alot to consider. as for a regular endurance competition she would be good. I’m a Dani fan but sad to hear she will be leaving

If Rachel should be tested for safety’s sake since she does drink. BUT if she’s allowed to continue to play, the production would be wise to make her sign a specific waiver of fault if anything were to happen to the baby. If she’s pregnant, the first trimester is typically the most touchy time with regard to miscarriages.

I think she should be allowed to continue to play. Most pregnant women can continue with their normal activities (including fitness). BB should let her consult with a doctor, start prenatal vitamins and be a “have” for the duration. That last would exempt her from food competitions, at least.

Julie said so tonight,they have three weeks left of the game. She’s only a few weeks pregnant if she’s pregnant at all,so by the time the game ended she would probably be 6-7 weeks along. Not really far enough. Now if this had happened at the beginning of the summer,that would be a different story. But she does need to test because if she is,the drinking needs to stop.
