January Jones Dissed By Her “Mad Men” Son Jared Gilmore
Is January Jones like her Mad Men character Betty Draper? The child star who plays her son on the show seems to think so. 11 year-old Jared Gilmore (aka Bobby Draper) told TV Guide, “Be careful around January [Jones]. She’s not as approachable as the others. She’s really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice.”
Yikes! Something tells me Jared got reprimanded by a publicist shortly after those remarks, which were intended as advice to the actor who will succeed him on the show. Jared’s leaving Mad Men for a role on ABC’s new fairy tale-inspired drama Once Upon a Time. At least things won’t be awkward on the Mad Men set! Still, somewhere in the Hollywood handbook I’m pretty sure it says not to diss your co-stars.
One person does share Jared’s opinion, though: Zach Galifinakis. Despite the fact that January called him the most “naturally funny” man she’d ever met, he said that she told him, “I think it’s time for you to leave now” after they spoke for 10 minutes. Hmm…
According to E! News, January was not available to comment on the story.
January, who recently appeared in X Men: First Class, announced that she was pregnant back in April.
