Kim Kardashian Wedding Sparks 22 Calls to Police!
Enormous, yes. Flashy? Sure. But classy? Apparently that’s not an adjective that applies to a Kardashian wedding. Apparently, Kim Kardashian’s much reported on wedding extravaganza in Montecito, California was so loud and disruptive that it resulted in not one, not four, not ten but a mind blowing twenty-two calls to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office over the course of the night.
Not that you can really blame the neighbors. Between the four hundred guests, the loud music and the parade of helicopters bringing celebrities to and fro, it can’t have been a peaceful Saturday night.
Why E!, the network that filmed the event for a soon to air TV special, didn’t bother to warn the neighbors and possibly buy them all nice hotel rooms somewhere far from the hub-bub of the ceremony, one can’t guess. They did, however, hire seven deputies from the local Sheriff’s Department to oversee the nuptials and provide extra security. Perhaps they were hoping for some irate gatecrashers? It would certainly have provided a nice reality television melodrama to keep things spicy.
Unfortunately for E!, the Montecito locals don’t seem to be all that melodramatic. No citations were issued and no arrests were made.
