Jill Zarin Fired from Real Housewives of New York? She Says Not Yet!
Just hours after The Huffington Post reported that Jill Zarin, Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord had been fired from The Real Housewives of NYC, Jill Zarin’s reps fired back with a statement to Us Weekly.
“Jill has not been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City. The truth is that Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and hasn’t made a final decision about returning to the show,” a rep for Zarin told Us Weekly Thursday afternoon.
If Huff Po is right, the only returning season four cast members will be LuAnn de LEssep, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. New women would be added into the mix at a later date, of course.
Singer is apparently still in the midst of negotiating her contract, so even her return is up in the air. Regardless of who is right and who is covering for a pink slip that may or may not have gone out this week, it seems that the original cast will be somewhat altered in season five.
