They have dated for almost three decades and they have two grown children, Sophie, 19, and Nick, 22. This past weekend, KISS frontman Gene Simmons and former Playboy Playmate Shannon Tweed decided it was time to finally get married.
The couple made it official in front of 400 guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They reportedly exchanged self-written vows.
Both of their children were in attendance, as well as celebrities like Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”
After years of saying that he would never get married, Simmons finally proposed to Tweed in July. The historic moment was broadcast on television, as part of their A&E reality TV series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
The wedding will feature on an upcoming season of the hit show.
