Jenna Fischer Welcomes New Son!
Pam may still be pregnant, and comically emotional, on The Office but the actress behind the character, Jenna Fischer, has given birth! Fischer welcomed her first son with her husband, Lee Kirk, on September 24th. The new addition has been dubbed, Weston Lee.
Kirk and Fischer’s representative confirmed the birth, adding that, ”Mom and baby are doing great.” Fischer announced her pregnancy in May, telling Jay Leno that she had gotten lucky. She told the Tonight Show host that, ”In the beginning, it was a lot of macaroni and cheese and Lucky Charms. Now it’s a lot of strawberries. I’ve been really lucky. I’ve had a really easy pregnancy”.
Fischer and Kirk got engaged in 2009 during a European vacation and were married in July 2010, with Survivor‘s Jeff Probst of all people officiating the ceremony. Kirk is Fischer’s second husband – she was previously married to screenwriter James Gunn, though they separated in 2007 and were divorced a year later.
We’ll see Fischer next on the big screen in The Giant Mechanical Man, a dramedy described by IMDB as, “An offbeat romantic comedy about a silver-painted street performer and the soft spoken zoo worker who falls for him.” Mechanical was written and directed by her hubby, Lee Kirk!
