Beyonce Countdown Video a Hit, Baby Bump and All (WATCH!)
Beyonce’s newest music video premiered last night, and Bey stayed true to form. The video for “Countdown” is high-energy, fashionable and just a little quirky.
The popstar’s pregnant belly gets a prominent cameo near the beginning of the video, but it does not slow her down a bit. The stylishly simple opening sequence ends with her turning in profile to show off her growing baby bump, before launching into Beyonce’s trademark dance moves.
Lots of bright colors, costume changes and quick-cut editing combine with no shortage of Bey’s bootylicious dancing for the rest of the video. It’s bound to be a hit with fans.
Beyonce has been talking a lot about her pregnancy since announcing it on the VMAs. She’s frequently quoted as saying how much fun it is, how it’s not an illness, and how there’s no reason for her to slow down or stop working. This video certainly proved her point; Bey looks fabulous, fit and is clearly enjoying herself – her big grin at the end says it all.
