Good news for Scarlett Johansson, bad news for internet pervs: the hacker who leaked intimate photos of celebrities on the internet has been arrested. According to E! News, the FBI has finally made an arrest as part of “Operation Hackerazzi.” We don’t know the details, except for the HuffPo’s assertion that the suspect was a “Florida man” – but the FBI plans to discuss the matter further at an 11 a.m. press conference in Los Angeles.
The photo scandals began in 2010, with Vanessa Hudgens as one of the first victims. Other celebs whose photos, emails and texts were hacked include Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Ali Larter, Busy Philipps, Emma Caulfield, Renee Olstead and Addison Timlin. (Yep, all ladies.)
Glad to hear that the photo scandals will stop…but ladies, be careful about which photos you save on your phone! Even if the hackers were all caught, what if you left your phone at a restaurant or something?
