It’s no secret that Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have been struggling to conceive but the E! News and Style Network host revealed a very personal announcement on NBC’s Today Show this week: she has breast cancer.
Giuliana appears to be optimistic about the diagnosis, telling Anne that the cancer was found early and the prognosis is good.
Fans of the loveable fashionista are stunned over the news, hoping that the announcement would instead be that she and Bill were finally pregnant.
Giuliana and Bill will still try and conceive after she’s cancer free, she tells Anne. She will undergo surgery this week and will then face six weeks of radiation therapy. Here’s what Giuliana had to say about having a baby afterwards:
“I still want this baby … because this baby has saved my life,” she said. “I truly feel God was looking out after me … If I had gotten pregnant later down the line, I could have been a lot sicker.”
