Selena Gomez has millions of fans all over the world but one 46-year-old man has taken his infatuation with the Wizards of Waverly star way too far – so far, in fact, that the LAPD Threat Management Unit is stepping in and Selena has obtained a restraining order.
Thomas Brodnicki, 46, has a criminal past involving stalking and reportedly told his therapist that he plans to kill Selena.
According to Gomez and her camp, the delusional man told his therapist that he drove from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her. During his “trip” he visited her workplace at least 3 times and says he’s spoken with God about killing the 19-year-old starlet.
Court documents reveal that LAPD detectives are taking the threats “extremely seriously” because of Brodnicki’s mental state and past threats.
Good to hear that the situation is being taken seriously. This man sounds seriously delusional.
