Mariah Carey Post-Baby Body: AMAZING Before & After Pics!
Mariah Carey had twins in April – but you’d never know it based on her slim figure! In the new issue of Us Weekly, Mariah debuts her post-baby body, and she’s looking impressively thin. On the cover she sports a pair of size six shorts, showing off slim legs and a flat tummy. I have to wonder how much Photoshop is involved – but Mariah says she’s lost 30 pounds!
“I gained an enormous amount of weight,” Mariah said of her pregnancy. So beginning in July, Mariah worked with a nutritionist and followed a Jenny Craig plan that had her eating 1,500 calories a day and working out three times a week (not so crazy, right?).
ABC News reports that the 30 pounds is in addition to the 40 pounds of water weight Mariah initially lost after giving birth. She gained a lot during the pregnancy, but tried not to let the media coverage bother her. “If they want to rag at me for looking like a huge boat, like that wasn’t my fault, I couldn’t help it. Carrying two human lives inside me and doing the best I could. What am I going to do?” (Seriously…you tell em, Mariah.)
But now: “I feel incredible,” she said. “It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies, but I felt trapped in my body because I couldn’t move.” She added: “I’m proud of how hard I worked to get my body back…I had to do this for me.”
