The Hunger Games official trailer is here! Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth star in the action/drama based on the popular book series, which hits theaters on March 23, 2012. Jennifer plays Katniss, a girl in a futuristic dystopia who must compete to the death in a televised match to help her family survive.

“I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change,” Jennifer said of the role in Entertainment Weekly. “And I walked around an entire day thinking ‘It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late.’”
But she was too moved by the book. “I love this story,” she says, “and if I had said no, I would regret it every day.”
