Elisabeth Hasselbeck has never been one to back down from confrontation and her interview on The View today (along with the other co-hosts) with Bill Maher was no exception.
Bill was a guest on the show today but, instead of talking about his new book like he had planned, he ended up spending the whole interview in a catfight with Elisabeth over a comment he made about her last year.
All of the details of what Bill said about Elisabeth are in the video below but basically Elisabeth was convinced that he had insulted women everywhere by taking a cheap shot at her during a very serious incident (when news correspondent Lara Logan was seriously assaulted last year). Turns out, she was really the only one still offended.
Long story short, Elisabeth was looking for an apology and she didn’t get one.
Take a look at the video below and let us know whose side you’re on here:

Elizabeth Please Stop the nonsense!!!!! You take most things to far, it makes most viewers not want to watch the program. JUST STOP!!!!!
Honestly, she embarrasses herself. I love Whoopi and Joy, have respect for Barbara, and can tolerate Sherri, but Elisabeth has to go!!!!!! I wish Kathy Griffin had been there!!!!!!!!
Barbara, why don’t you have more control over your co-hosts? Elisabeth was an embarrassment with her rude attack on Bill Maher.
This GIRL has been holding a grudge for over a year. She is so petty and unprofessional .
How does this woman continue to have such a high profile media position when she is so annoying. It’s one thing to be controversial and thought provoking, but to be so self centered and annoying, it makes the View intolerable. There are so many other women more talented who could do such a better job on the View. I hope the producers rethink the value of EH.
Elizabeth did just embarrass herself. She in no way smacked down Bill. WTF is up with the title? She’s the high school-er and he’s the grown up in this conversation.
I love how she considers it an attack on ALL women just like a right winger to blow things out of proportion. Fact is it was an insult only to Elizabeth & I stand by bill’s joke please take her away.
When Joy said at the end of the show Elizabeth good TV.I almost wanted to throw up,Barbra let her get away with that intolerable( Ann Colltrain )obnoxious way she treated ROSIE well I think Bill Maher is no Rosie she f—– with the wrong guy.
