Kristen Stewart Breaking Dawn Premiere: Sparkly Gown and Sneakers!
We wouldn’t be surprised if Kristen Stewart had decided to pair and floor length, sparkly gown with sneakers on the red carpet at the Twilight: Breaking Dawn premiere on Monday just because she felt like it. Stewart does have a rather punk fashion sensibility, after all.
But the Twlight star had a good reason for doing at least half of her red carpet time in comfortable shoes. She’s injured!
“I hurt it running around” while filming “Snow White and the Huntsman,” she told to E! Online. Robert Pattinsen stepped in to assure the reporter that it was, “nothing scary.”
Stewart stuck to her sneakers while signing autographs and hanging out with fans, who had been lined up since Friday night. ”It was fun. We got to really take our time,” she said of the signing session. ”Sometimes we’re rushed and I don’t know why that happens.”
She swapped out the comfie shoes for sky high Jimmy Choos when it came time for pictures, however. The shoes might have been more appropriate with her purple, floor length gown by J. Mendel, but somehow I prefer the sneakers. They’re a little more punk and a little less vamp… but then again, four or five inch heels never look right to me!
