Breaking Dawn Part 1 Reviews and Spoilers!

The countdown is almost over and it’s the day Twilight fans have been waiting for since it was announced that Breaking Dawn Part 1 would be playing in theaters on November 18, 2011. I can remember the date seeming so far away when it was first announced and yet now it feels like everything’s happened so fast.

As most of you know, a select group of people are privileged enough to have already seen the film. Without ruining it for fans, many of these individuals have provided reviews of the movie – as well as a few spoilers to tie you over until tomorrow’s premiere.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Reviews

The overall consensus from those who have seen the movie already is overwhelmingly positive (although that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise). A movie critic for PEOPLE describes the film as “a breathless, faithful portrayal of so much they’ve [the fans] waited to see.” They elaborate by revealing (as we all already know) that in this installment fans will witness “Edward and Bella’s wedding, honeymoon and their darling, matricidal little bundle of joy.”

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Spoilers

We don’t want to give anything in the movie away (especially with just a few hours until you’ll see it – you’ve waited this long, we don’t want to ruin it for you now) but it was pretty much agreed that the best scenes from the movie are the honeymoon scene, the scene where Bella and Edward talk about aborting the baby and, obviously, the birth scene.

Female fans of the movies will undoubtedly be curious to see what Bella’s wedding dress looks like and, according to the same critic for PEOPLE “the dress is beautiful, a tasteful but fashion-forward creation.”

Bella’s wedding dress is the part I’m most excited to see.

What about you? What are you most excited to see in Breaking Dawn Part 1.

One Response to Breaking Dawn Part 1 Reviews and Spoilers!

  1. After just having re-read Breaking Dawn before I went to see the movie, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and amazed at how authentic and true-to-the-book this movie was. It is always heartbreaking to anticipate a movie taken from a book only to find that the screen writier decided to re-write the very essence of the book. This movie was spot-on. It gave me everything I wanted and more. I was also impressed with how the difficult parts were handled, such as imprinting and wolf-talking. All I can say if that if Breaking Dawn Part:II is as good as Part: I, this series may have some hope of making up for the other three movies’ less-than-stellar reviews.
As a side note, I also have to say that Kristen Stewart did a great job in this movie. She is much improved from the last 3!
