The Dancing with the Stars finale has just finished airing and the new winner of Season 13 has just been announced. The question is, did the person you want to win take home the mirror-ball trophy this time around?
Dancing with the Stars 2011 Winner:
Your Dancing with the Stars 2011 winner is JR Martinez but do you agree with the decision? The Final 3 were vey close throughout the whole competition. While Rob always fell a few scores behind Ricki and JR for the majority of the season, he made up in fan votes what he didn’t receive in judge’s scores. The past few weeks, Rob has emerged as a clear frontrunner on the leaderboard, leaving JR behind (mostly due to his ankle injury). Ricki maintained her impressive scores but didn’t improve as much as Rob in the last few weeks.
JR and Karina truly dedicated themselves to this season. It’s Karina’s first win and she even put off her wedding so she could dedicate the time she needed to teach and mentor JR on the dance floor.
It was a tight competition but only one couple can come out on top.
So the question is, did the right person win Dancing with the Star 2011?

I don’t think JR deserved to win. Ricki and Derek worked and put the most work in it. Rob should’ve been in 3rd place. this season wasn’t about talent. Nancy stayed longer then David?!? like really? come on, it’s not about talent. Should’ve been between JR and Ricki. people vote for who they feel bad for. they want Karina to win because she hasn’t won a mirror ball trophy. and rob cause he complains about his man boobs and his mom cries in the audience. I’m not being rude, it’s my opinion. I just am sick of favoritism.
I agree with you that JR and Ricki should have been the 2 finalists not Rob and I think JR deserves the trophy. As far as Karina what about the year she had Mario Lopez as a partner. He was absolutely amazing but was voted off. Karina was cheated that year. I think the right couple won this year.
Yes he deserved it. He has been through alot and with an ankle injury J.R. still did good.

I agree. I think Karina is a great dancer and teacher. She should have also won the year she had Mario Lopez as partner. He was better than some professionals.

I am ecstatic that JR and Karina won. Ricki was good and so was Rob and they got their prestige. They made it to the finalists and Ricki got what she came for anyway, to lose weight. Unfortunately, about 98% is the public’s opinion. A very small portion of it lies on the judges remarks, but, America votes and if you don’t like the results don’t blame anyone but “the people” who call in. A lot of people get on these blogs ranting and raving that JR shouldn’t have won or Rob should have been third. You are not going to get everyone to think like you, deal with it. America has spoken, evidently, and it is what it is. Get a grip.
I’m proud of the couple that won. It was meant to be them or it wouldn’t have happened that way.
I like Ricky Lake I think the best of all of them.. I liked Jr as well. I am glad he won.

Yes, J.R. deserved to win! The problem with Ricky Lake is Derek. He is a good dancer, and may be a good teacher, but he pushes himself into the spotlight constantly, whenever the camera is on him – whether dancing or not. He uses his partner to show himself off – he is good looking and talented, and he not only knows it but wants the whole world to know it.I am glad he ended up third – though I feel sorry for Ricky Lake as she had to play second fiddle all the time to the show-off behavior of Derek. But J.R. was the best and most admirable of all! Dancelover.
Just got the results I am so happy he won. I was praying America got it right during the times I got to watch it seems like it was rigged and not for real well with most of these reality shows who do they think they are fooling but I am happy JR won he is truly an inspiration to all of us he makes me so proud hope we get to see more of him somehow after this show he is destine for greatness. He can come hang with us in beautiful Saint Lucia anytime and teach us some of these moves love you JR.
