The first elimination of tonight’s episode of X Factor USA has just been announced and the results probably won’t come as a shock to most fans.
It wasn’t their first time in the bottom two, so it’s probably no surprise that Lakoda Rayne was sent home tonight. What I find more shocking is Paula has no acts left.
Who Should Win X Factor USA?
In my opinion, Drew is the best singer on the show. She has the most unique voice and, while she is young (just 15 years old), she seems a lot more mature than her age (definitely more mature than Astro).
Now that you know that Lakoda Rayne was eliminated tonight on X Factor USA, tell me, do you think they deserved to be sent home?
X Factor only attracts 10 million viewers. It is not a good representation of America. For gods sake Astro made it this far! When Lakoda Rayne gets a record deal, they will blow up the radiowaves.
Lakoda Rayne deserves better. I think they will make Billboards. As for Drew, she is a great singer with no words. C’mon give us something other than mmm. I want to understand her. I think Rachael Crow actually has the best voice.

I think that the last two standing is gonna be Malanie Amaro and Astro … The Fact that they eliminated Lakoda Rayne is right they also need to get rid of Leroy Bell, Drew and Marcus Canty then I think this show will really be interesting to watch.. The fact of the matter is I don’t even watch the show except to see how Malanie Preforms on the show other then that I also Google – “Eliminated from XFactor” to see the results because this show is so fake its not funny and the only thing that is good about this show or American idol is the “auditions”
America got it right! To the writer, Drew is definitely and absolutely NOT the best. This is not the show for most original. It is the show for the person who has the X factor aka who will have the most ticket sales. That person without a shadow of a doubt is MELANIE.

I think Lakoda Rayne will do well once they find their audience. Marcus is really not that good. I think it was a mistake to keep. Astro is not ready. Leroy Bell had one of the best voices on the show he just didn’t pick the right material. He should of been given another chance.

Do you always delete comments that are remotely critical of you? You had the story wrong in saying that Drew was in the bottom two, and I acknowledged it. You changed the article and deleted my comment to hide your mistake. Twice. Again, phenomenal “journalism.”

I have no problem accepting criticism. Another reader emailed me with the correct details and I wrote them back a very nice email saying thank you. Not everyone needs acknowledgement and Amy was not the first person to let me know what really happened on the show. so there was no need to note when I changed it.

good, straightforward opinions. Hm,for example…it was just lakoda rayne’s ahem, time. Lets just say they were only proving to be so marketable. Its not like their individuallity got them to this point, right? Hey sorry LRFANS,but they struggled on stage more than a few times. Enough to make a viewer cringe…n then some. Not surprised at all, or about Leroy. But he was cool cat.

It was said last week, when someone said that Lakoda Rayne’s type music is country rock. They will get tons of support. They are talented, and they are lovely people. The country fans support their artists, and I see them with a huge future. Too bad they left already. Never thought they would go to the end, but I thought they had a couple more weeks. I do think that Astro should have gone last week. Only reason that he apologized and both him and his Mom appealed to his fans to keep him in the running after his hissy fit, is because of the $5 Million carrot that they saw being snatched from them. But I still don’t believe he meant the apology
Lakoda Rayne’s did well and should not have left. They will be a big country we will see a lot of. Astro should of gone home last week. I think the show is rigged so I am no longer watching.

Didn’t care much for Lakoda Rayne….but I will really miss Leroy and his beautiful raspy voice. He finally got into it on his save song. By the way, I guessed that Astro would be in the bottom 3 with X Factor not letting him go home after his selfish ways last week. ****Can you say……FIXED****** Astro cannot sing! Week after week he talks, can’t understand a thing he is saying, he sounds the same on every song, Chris Rene blows him out ( Go Young Homie)! He never should have been on the show. Astro, go home and get away from that Rap influence….it’s not good for you, it shows….America sees it!!!

I totally think that the outcome of Lakota Rayne was fixed. This show is supposed to be live but Tuesday night Simon said “…And I really wish you weren’t going home.” This kinda proved to me that it is rigged at least a little bit because if it were truely live he wouldn’t know they were going home tonight.
In terms of talent, Melanie has the best voice…Josh’s voice is awesome too. This show is about ‘marketability’ and selling records…Drew is different and will sell, Astro because of the genre of music he’s doing, and Lakota Rain because they’re beautiful young women that have a Dixie Chicks appeal going for them at the moment.
Josh, Melanie, Chris, Rachel, already exist in the music market…..it’s too bad but they’re a dime a dozen.
I’m not shocked to see Lakoda Rayne in the bottom, but a little saddened. I’m glad to hear that they are going to try to stick together. But I can’t disagree with you more about Drew and I’m saying this as a die-hard fan of Sarah McLachlan, The Cranberries and many other artists that she has been compared to. I think she sounds very amateurish in comparison to them and to her group mates Melanie and Rachel. I personally think the strongest and most pleasing voices are those two and Josh of the over 30s.
Lakoda Rayne has something very special. Yes they do need to come together more as a group but look at what they have accomplished in such a short time. I think that someone will grab them up and work with them and i see them going on to be a top ticket group.
I think Astro should have gone way before Lakoda Rayne. He is the only one who has not been held to the same restrictions as all the others. He sings only one style and kept in his comfort zone where all the others must go out of theirs and sing different styles. He is good at rapping, but lets be fair.
ok the best two are rachel and melanie. lokoda rayne was ok but they were really pitchy alot of the time and so is drew.

There are a lot of really good individual singers in the U.S. However, Lakoda Rayne knocks it out of the ball park. I don’t know what is wrong with the viewing public but they really missed the mark on this one. I would by any album that Lakoda Rayne would put out. They are really something special. In a way, they remind me of Bond who were four gorgeous young woman who took classical music, played it on their violins to an up beat performance. Lakoda Rayne is the same type of talent with their voices and their looks. Any record company that does not sign them is somewhere in outer space because they are terrific.
