Michelle Duggar Miscarriage Saddens Fans
Just weeks ago Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar announced that they were expecting their 20th child. The stars of the hit reality show 19 Kids and Counting were incredibly excited about the newest addition to their family but, unfortunately, the couple has just announced that Michelle suffered a miscarriage.
The couple released a statement today confirming the sad news:
“Earlier today at a routine doctor’s appointment, Michelle and I received the sad news that we lost the baby.” The statement continues, “Michelle is resting comfortably at home with the support of the entire family. We are grateful for all the thoughts and prayers, but ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
The news comes just weeks before Christmas which will undoubtedly make the news that much harder to deal with. Fortunately, Michelle and Jim Bob are surrounded by a loving, supportive family who will be there to comfort them and help them through this difficult time.
