Sinead O’Connor got married – in a pink Cadillac in Vegas! People Magazine reports that the Irish singer tied the knot with fiancé Barry Herridge on her 45th birthday by cruising the drive-thru at A Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas strip.
“She wanted to do the whole thing in a Cadillac. That was her thing,” explained a source. Sinead also wore a low-cut pink dress that showed off her tattoos – and her slimmed down shoulders. Earlier this year, a 2010 photo of Sinead with some extra pounds shocked fans – but she’s clearly lost a lot of weight since then. Sinead is also back to her old shaved-head look.
“It wasn’t a traditional dress, but it wasn’t a traditional wedding either,” said the source. To match, Barry wore a dark jacket and pink shirt. The source added: “She cried during the vows and had to wipe her eyes.” After the ceremony, the chapel staff sang “Happy Birthday” to Sinead.
