Scarlett Johansson Speaks Out on Naked Photo Leaks

Scarlett Johansson made headlines earlier this year when naked photos of her turned up online. In her appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, Scarlett shared her thoughts and insights into the matter.

“Somebody stole my nudey photos and they were out there for all the world to see,” She says in the interview, “Which was unfortunate really. It was quite shocking, it was extremely creepy.” That incident prompted her to seek help from the the FBI, and eventually a man was arrested in connection with the photo leak.

But like Charlie Sheen’s most recent Twitter blunder, this photo leaking incident was at least partly due to Johansson’s minimal knowledge of new technology. “I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account, and I don’t know how I feel about this idea of, ‘Now I’m eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I’m having dinner at this time.’…That to me is a very strange phenomenon,” The actress stated in the current issue of Interview.

Everything is sorted out now, and although the hacker was caught, it seems that Johansson may not deserve all of our sympathy. After all, sending photos out into the world carries a certain risk, no matter what precautions you take.
