Michael Jordan Engaged to Yvette Prieto
Another celebrity engagement! The New York Post reports that basketball legend Michael Jordan is engaged to model Yvette Prieto.
The Charlotte Bobcats owner, 48, proposed over the holidays. He and Yvette, 32, have been celebrating on a yacht in the French Riveria.
Michael divorced his first wife, Juanita, back in 2006. They were together for 17 years and have three children together. Michael and Yvette, a Cuban-born model, have been living together since 2009. The pair has stayed quiet about their relationship, but they have been spotted together at a number of red carpet events over the past few years. Yvette, who was once linked to Julio Iglesias, Jr., has modeled for such designers as Alexander Wang.
Their house in Miami is just a three-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot house…sounds big to me, but it only cost $300,000. To put that in perspective, Michael’s first wife Juanita was awarded $168 million in their divorce settlement.
Maybe Yvette’s engagement ring makes up for it?
