And now for your Monday morning rap battle…

MTV News reports that Common has responded to Drake’s diss in a new remix of Rick Ross’ “Stay Schemin.” Check it out:

The track comes in response to Drake’s version of the track, which was included on the Rich Forever mixtape.

Here are some of Common’s lyrics:
“My motto is, Chicago b–ch/ Everybody knows you sweet, what the problem is?/ Don’t play dumb, I’m the one that acknowledged it”

Common also made fun of Drake’s lyrics in “Headlines”:
“Actin’ all hard when he hardly like that/ You gonna mess around and make me catch a body like that,”

But then things got serious when Common brought up his ex-girlfriend Serena Williams, whom Drake hinted at a relationship with in an interview with Complex magazine: “I really, really love and care for Serena Williams,” he said without explaining anything else. Common even dissed Drake’s bi-racial background: “Can’t say my name, but rap about a n—a’s wife/ You so black and white tryna live a n—a’s life,”

Common ended by saying, “I’m talking too long with this amateur guy/ You ain’t wettin’ nobody n—a, you Canada Dry.”

Your turn, Drake. You gonna let him talk to you like that??
