Amber Rose Debuts New Single “Fame” And Forgives Kanye West For Having Sex With Kim Kardashian
Did you get all that? There’s a lot in that headline to take in.
Amber Rose, for those who don’t know, is the famously crew-cutted and curvy model who once dated Kanye West (and, later, had some extremely explicit nude photos appear on the Internet).
Rose’s first single has arrived and it features her current beau, Wiz Khalifa. The song is called “Fame” and it might defy your expectations. It’s decidedly hip hop, but also prominently features a piano track. As you would expect, Rose’s voice is heavily auto-tuned. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments:
The lyrics are about her rise to fame, although there are probably more than a few people out there who would argue that she’s not famous at all. A notable section of the song’s lyrics is: “Srutinize, being blind/ Excited by all the lights (clearly a reference to Kanye)/ The question wasn’t made up / Like these rumors were made up/ Can’t shop for clothes or buy some cigs/ Without paparazzi waiting for a flick.”
Rose has also decided to take this moment in the spotlight to say that she forgives Kim Karshashian for having sex with Kanye while she was dating the rap star. She called Kim a “home-wrecker” at the time, but says she now feels bad about saying that.
“I forgive her … and I forgive Kanye too,” said Rose. “It’s not a big deal, you know?”
