Sarah Burke Accident: Skiing Champion And Model In A Coma!

Sarah Burke, a freestyle skier from Canada, is in critical condition following an accident on the slopes. Reportedly, the Olympic hopeful hit her head on a run at a half-pipe training course in Park City, Utah and is currently in a medically-induced coma.

Burke is well-known in the world of winter sports. She has won more than any other woman in the freestyle skiing world and she’s frequently seen on red carpets and in magazines. She even posed in lingerie for FHM and was named one of the 100 sexiest women alive.

“What I’ve heard, relatively directly, is that she landed a trick down in the bottom end of the pipe, and kind of bounced, from her feet to her head,” the CEO of the Canadian freestyle ski team told the Globe and Mail. “It wasn’t anything that looked like a catastrophic fall, so I’m a bit mystified.”

Her husband and mother rushed to Utah to be by her side. They released a statement asking for privacy while they focus on her recovery.

Burke was training for the upcoming X-Games, where she had previously won four gold medals.
