The Bachelor: Ben Flajnik and Emily Climb the Bay Bridge, Other Women Spy Through Telescope
The Bachelor gang is now in San Francisco. Ben met his sister and told her that he has a great group of women to choose from.
One woman he mentioned was Emily the epidemiologist – who was then the first woman to be chosen for a one-on-one date with Ben. Courtney predicted that Emily will be boring on the date, saying “Some of these girls are very educated … but book smart can be very boring.”
On their first date, Ben and Emily climbed to the top of the Bay Bridge. He claimed that if they can make it to the top together, there’s no telling how far they can get in the relationship. The professionals who helped hoist them up warned them that it would be dangerous.
“I am absolutely petrified beyond any description right now,” said Emily. She hesitated mid-way, but Ben gave her a kiss which apparently gave her the courage to move on.
In the meantime, Jennifer the redhead accountant, was looking through the telescope at their SF home and spotted Ben and Emily on the bridge. It’s not every day when the other contestants can spy on one-on-one dates.
After the bridge climb, Ben and Emily went to dinner. At one point in the conversation, Ben mentioned that he did love Ashley (Herbert). That was very honest of him. Then he complimented Emily, saying, “You’re quick and you’re witty … and probably smarter than me!” Then he gave her the rose and they kissed (as literal fireworks exploded in the backdrop).
