Emily Maynard Is the Next Bachelorette?
Emily Maynard will be the next Bachelorette, according to People magazine.
After getting engaged to Brad Womack at his second shot on The Bachelor then breaking it off thereafter, Emily Maynard was famously sought after by last season’s bad boy, Bentley Williams. Other men have expressed their interest in Emily so perhaps she is the obvious pick.
After Brad’s season was over, ABC broadcast an after-show special with Chris Harrison interviewing the newly engaged couple, and Emily did not appear to be fully committed to the engagement. Their interaction was awkward, they admitted to major obstacles after the show was over, and she was openly resistant to the idea of moving to Austin with Brad.
The People report claims that production on the show will move to Charlotte, North Carolina, so Maynard can stay close to her daughter Ricki.
As you may know, Ricki is the most important person in Emily’s life. Ricki’s father was killed in a plane crash immediately before Maynard discovered she was pregnant.
