What did you think of her rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner?” She took a fairly traditional approach – and I think it paid off. Last year, Christina Aguilera was widely criticized when she screwed up the lyrics to the National Anthem…but Kelly didn’t get a single lyric wrong. Way to rock it, girl! Kelly didn’t smile a lot during the performance, but perhaps she was nervous…more than 111 million people are expected to watch the game!
Surrounded by an adorable children’s choir, Kelly also kept her outfit simple with a short-sleeved black dress. Also, we love the bangs!
