Bachelor Hometown Dates: Kacie B. Becomes Frustrated at Her Skeptical Parents Who Dislike Ben Flajnik
This week, Ben visits the homes of the four final women.
Lindzi’s hometown date is first – in Ocala, Florida. Of course the first thing they do is play with horses. Ben says, “It’s incredibly sexy seeing Lindzi on a horse.” She teaches him how to operate a carriage pulled by a beautiful white horse named Devon. After, he meets Lindzi’s very calm-demeanored and likeable parents and are almost instantly challenged to a horse carriage race. When the young couple loses, they have to pull the parents back home. Personally, I really dig Lindzi’s family.
For Kacie B., Ben goes to Clarksville, Tennessee, to meet her mom, sister and very skeptical dad who happens to be a teetotaling federal parole officer. This scares men since he is a winemaker.
Ben talks to Kacie’s dad and admits, “One of my main concerns is that I won’t make the right decision. I have very strong feelings for your daughter as well as some of the other women.” The dad warned gently, “If you realize that Kacie is not the one for you, I would hope that you would communicate with her as soon as possible so she doesn’t get more hurt.”
Kacie’s mom also expressed her own concerns. She was not okay with the idea of Kacie and Ben moving in together prior to marriage.
By the end of the conversations with the parentals, Ben really doesn’t think he’ll gain the approval of either of Kacie’s parents. I don’t think he’s wrong.
Kacie’s dad tells her that if Ben were to ask for his blessing for marriage, he would say no.
