Russell Brand Dating Oriela Medellin?
Russell Brand and Katy Perry only split at the end of December – but rumor has it that he’s already seeing someone else! People Magazine reports that the 36 year-old has been spotted with artist/model/fashion designer/yoga practicer Oriela Medellin.
Exhibit A: Russell and Oriela have reportedly been taking yoga classes together in Hollywood (Oriela even tweeted about it) and were spotted getting a drink at Bar Marmont Feb 18. Exhibit confirmed: Oriela was also seen LEAVING RUSSELL’S HOUSE on Feb 12th!!
Apparently, Oriela is a “modern-day gypsy” who claims to be fluent in four languages. She was born in Mexico City, and studied art, fashion, film and acting in Milan, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. She models for her mother, fashion designer Wanda Amieiro, and sells her paintings for anywhere from $7 to $7,000. For more info about her, check out Oriela’s website.
She certainly sounds different from Katy Perry, who is the daughter of two pastors. Katy has shown signs of moving on from Russell as well; her new song “Part of Me,” which she performed at the 2012 Grammy’s, was seen as a dig at Russell.
