Jennifer Garner Has Baby Boy!
Jennifer Garner has given birth to a baby boy! Us Weekly reports that Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck have welcomed their third child in Santa Monica, CA.
The baby was almost a leap day baby – but arrived February 28, one day before Leap Day 2012.
Jen’s and Ben’s new baby boy will join sisters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3. Jennifer and Ben, who have been married for seven years, managed to keep quiet about the gender of the baby. Jen told Jay Leno in January that Ben was actually nervous about the prospect of having a boy: “I would have thought [he wanted a boy],” Jen said. At first…I really thought so. And then [Ben] kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”
Jen also discussed the pregnancy with Ellen: “It would be so weird to have a boy,” she said, noting that the experience would be “cool and different.”
So – what is Jennifer Garner’s baby’s name? That’s still under wraps…but if Violet and Seraphina had their way, it would be Disney-themed. “[They suggested] Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck,” Jennifer said. “And then they moved on…[to] Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.” Given Jen’s and Ben’s daughters’ names, we’re guessing it will be unique but not too crazy.
