American Idol Top Ten Formed, Shannon Magrane Sent Home
Shannon Magrane sang the Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men classic, “One Sweet Day” but it wasn’t good enough for America. She was eliminated tonight, just a hair away from the American Idol top ten tour.
Many wondered if an elimination would even occur tonight since Jermaine Jones was unexpectedly kicked off already for failing to reveal his previous criminal records and outstanding warrants. But alas, the bottom contestant was still sent home.
“American Idol has definitely been a learning experience for me. I thank you guys so much because you guys have been so loyal to me and so honest with me, you three especially, and I just want to say it feels so good standing on this stage. It just feels so good,” said Shannon.
Ryan Seacrest also announced the Judges’ Save for this season, in which Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson are able to save a bottom contestant from going home until the top five.
The top ten are: Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Deandre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, and Jessica Sanchez.
Would you watch the tour with these ten?
