American Idol Elise Testone Gets Standing Ovation of the Night!
Elise Testone is wearing a hat that looks like a baby pink faux fur helmet. I hope Tommy Hilfiger changes that. He instantly criticizes her for being too layered up and just being overall way too covered up. She tells him she likes the ‘70s, so he suggests high-waisted bell bottoms. He doesn’t actually pick out an outfit for her and says he hopes she dresses herself well.
As for her performance, she sings “Vienna” and personally I think she’s incredible. I love her unique, raspy voice. (She’s wearing a long burgundy gown with a sheer black cover up vest.) The judges give her a standing ovation. Steven Tyler says she’s brilliant, JLo looks misty-eyed and Randy says he doesn’t know any other singer who can do what she did. Elise has been in the bottom two the last two weeks, so hopefully she will do better this week.
